Chance was born in Whitefish, Montana, spending his youth in both Montana and Georgia. He attended the Terry College of Business within the University of Georgia. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance in December of 2007, he quickly moved back to his roots and entered into real estate alongside his grandfather, Paul D. Wachholz. Paul has been a real estate pioneer in Montana since 1981, and Chance has benefited much by working along his side for ten years. Chance specializes in residential and land sales, development, and luxury home sales. In 2012, Chance continued to improve his skill set by getting his Broker's license, giving his clients yet another edge in the competitive real estate industry.
Chance is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying sports such as snowboarding, hiking, running, and mountain biking. He also holds the seven Montana State Open Handball Championships and most recently acquired his private pilot certificate. Chance has also become a home renovation specialist, restoring neglected homes and improving the surrounding neighborhoods. His entrepreneurial mindset sees disparities in the market and pounces on the opportunity. He has gained extensive construction knowledge throughout the process. If you ask, Chance is more than happy to give you his opinion and vision of what a home's full potential may be!

Chance sold my house. I was told we had a week after closing in the house. A day before the closing date Chance called and told me we had to be 100% out the next day. He didn’t know the contract timelines. It cost me thousands to expedite the move out. No apology, no offer to financially compensate for the urgency he created. Do not use him, he doesn’t know his job or how to read the contract.

Chance is extremely professional. Which is a quality I appreciate. He's gone above and beyond what I expect from a real estate agent in both of my purchases through him. The first purchase with Chance could have fallen through as the seller seemingly desired as they had second thoughts. But when I was working out of state and the home needed some drywall in the garage to pass appraisal, Chance personally threw it up on his own time and dollar. The sale of that home and the purchase of the next both came with contingencies and obligations that Chance's experience and knowledge made easy to navigate. He gave clear answers in situations that seemed muddy. I've thoroughly enjoyed having Chance represent my family the last few years.

Chance is a great guy to work with. He helped my wife and I buy our first home in Montana. He is very skilled and motivated to get the job done. Chance took us on a tour of about 5 homes one day. We really liked the last house of the tour, and Chance put an offer in for us that day. We had some delays during escrow with getting an appraisal from the credit union. Chance hung in there and was by our side the whole time. He was great at keeping us up to date and made sure everything was in line. He also put in repair request and got some minor repairs taken care of before we moved in. I would highly recommend Chance for all your real estate needs. Thanks buddy!

Chance did such an amazing job of finding several different home options within my budget. Anytime I reviewed a new house online that I liked, he would drop everything and meet me at the property to show it to me and point out all the pros and cons with a realistic and honest approach. He never sugar-coated the situation to "make a deal" and wanted to make sure I was 110% in LOVE with the property before I made an offer. When we found the house for me, Chance worked directly with my mortgage lender to make all the arrangements, was in constant communication with all parties involved and was giving me daily updates on our progress. Before I knew it, I was signing papers and calling new house "mine." The process was so smooth I felt like the papers practically signed themselves. He even made sure my closing date was in time for me to go on my annual family vacation to Rockin' the Rivers, which, I know, was not an easy task! I would recommend Chance to any one of my friends or family who were looking for new real estate to purchase! Thanks for all your work and follow-up, Chance! I LOVE MY NEW HOME!!!!

We worked both long distance from MN and in person in MT with Chance (who had been referred to us by a lawyer in the Flathead Valley of MT). What a delightful experience! After establishing our parameters and priorities, Chance continually provided us a selection of available homes to review while in MT, making fine use of our available time. While our home was on the market in MN, Chance checked in frequently. We were all over the internet real estate sites. As our MN home had a serious buyer, we joined Chance in MT for a tour of his best picks for us. Touring us in his sparkling vehicle, we learned much about each section of Kalispell, each neighborhood, and even the traffic patterns including news of the coming highway bypasses - important! Soon the perfect property came on the market and we headed from MN to MT while Chance made all the arrangements with the seller's Realtor. Not a "slam-dunk" process as the seller became a bit difficult - yet Chance professionally navigated the waters and resolved all issues -- patience, personality, and pride in his work resulted in a clean sale. Working with Chance as a first time home buyer was an excellent experience. He explained all processes in great detail to assure I understood everything with confidence. He informed me about all the neighborhoods I was interested in and if they had any HOA's. He rarely missed my phone calls and if he did he called me back immediately. He gave excellent advice on a lender and a home inspector to help me make my home owner dream come true.
